ANDY BOWN
Gone To My Head

THE HERD were a successful British teenybopper flower power group that was together from 1966 to 1969, at the height of the pop art mod movement in the UK, sometimes referred to as The Paisley Underground. The Herd were fronted by Peter Frampton until he split to form Humble Pie with Steve Marriott of The Small Faces. That left Andy Bown, the organ player, who continued to lead The Herd. He then formed Judas Jump, and later hooked up again with Peter in Frampton's Live band, and eventually joined Status Quo. Along the way, Andy Bown managed to release a few solo albums, debuting in 1972 with this LP, 'Gone To My Head'. Selections are: Pale Shadow (Of His Former Self); And If My Love Wants To Know; P.S. Get Lost; The Mourning Leaves; Open Your Eyee; Oh, James; Eventually; Etcetera, Etcetera; If It's All The Same To You; Please Remember Me; and the title track, Gone to my Head.
