THE EVERLY BROTHERS' BEST

The Everly Brothers have enjoyed a long and rewarding career, built on a solid foundation of great song material and alot of talent. Their first radio appearance was on Radio Station KMA, Shenandoah, Iowa, when they were only 8 and 6 years old! Their first TV appearance came with the May 11, 1957 broadcast from the world famous "Grand Ole Opry" in Nashville, Tennessee. By 1959, their record label, CADENCE RECORDS (CLP-3025), released this Best Of LP, full of solid hits: Claudette; Bird Dog; Devoted To You; Should We Tell Him; Problems; Love Of My Life; All I Have To Do Is Dream; Bye Bye Love; I Wonder If I Care As Much; Wake Up Little Susie; Maybe Tomorrow; and This Little Girl Of Mine. The scarce blue cover shows only hardly any edge wear and a minor crease to the lower right corner. There is a scuff to the lower left portion of the rear cover, but otherwise the seams are intact, there is no writing, and the jacket appears in overall Very Good condition. The original maroon & silver deep-groove Cadence labels appear fairly clean and in overall Excellent condition, while the playing surfaces show some typical light sleeve scuffs associated with handling. Overall condition appears Very Good for this nice hard-to-find original!
