LES BAXTER - The Lost Episode 10"

NEWLY REMASTERED FROM 15-IPS STUDIO TAPE!

In the frenzy of interest that surrounds retro cocktail lounge & space-age pop music, Les Baxter's name keeps coming up. He single-handedly invented exotica, and his series of albums from the 1950s stand as the genre's best. THE LOST EPISODE is a six-song 33 1/3rd RPM 10" LP that includes Mr Baxter's ONLY recorded LIVE performance of jazz, exotica and space age bachelor pad music ever captured on tape. Selections include: It's A Big Wide Wonderful World; Quiet Village; Ruby; Lover; Chopsticks; and Love Is A Many Splendid Thing. The material was culled from a one-time LIVE local Los Angeles TV broadcast in 1961, and the sound quality is stunning! Newly discovered television studio master tapes led to this fantastic upgraded pressing. The yellow sticker on the shrinkwrap indicates this is a newly remastered pressing. This must-have 10" will please the Les Baxter fan. STILL FACTORY SEALED!
