Inspired by the success of Elvis Presley, radio programmer Joe Leonard Jr. of Gainesville, Texas, formed his own label to promote local rockers, many of whom went on to major labels. The LIN record label & the KLIFF record label, issued some really great Texas Rockabilly singles during the 1950's.
