This seldom seen Debut LP by Southwind, features pop-rock great JOHN 'Moon' MARTIN on lead guitar & vocals, and JIM PULTE on Bass. Along with Phil Hope & Eric Dalton, the band provides a refreshing 'hippy' vibe to their selections, all done in a cool country rock meets paisley flower power style: Fresh As A Daisy; New Orleans (Mardi Gras); You're Gonna Blow My Mind; Trying To Fly My Kite (In Rainy Weather); Hollywood Honeys; My Baby Was Never Lonely; Got To Get Myself Together; Highway One; I'm Proud To Be; Get On Board The Train; You Been On My Mind; and I'm Moving On. Produced by Dugg Brown, Willie Hutch, & Leon Ware, with liner notes by Radio Station KSAN Program Director Tom Donahue. This is an Original 1968 pressing on the obscure VENTURE RECORDS (4002), and has never been issued on CD. The record jacket, although opened, still has the original shrink wrap intact, and the jacket, labels & playing surfaces all appear overall beautiful near MINT!
