GEORGE CARLIN- Take Offs & Put Ons
Solo debut LP with original cover art!

Recorded Live At The Roostertail, Detroit, Michigan

This is George Carlin's first Solo LP, with the original cover art! This classic release, along with a few appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show, helped establish George as one of the funniest stand-up comics to ever crack a joke. On this breakthrough release, George is enthusiastic and in top form as he becomes a Top-40 Disc Jockey on Wonderful WINO Radio; The Indian Sergeant; The Newscast; or spoofing Commercials; and Daytime Television. This is an original 1967 pressing on RCA VICTOR (3772), black label with dog on top. This elusive copy has the original cover art, with rows of subway photo machine portraits of young George contorting his face in every way imaginable. Subsequent pressing do not have this cover art. Available in Stereo or Mono. The record jacket, labels & playing surfaces appear overall near MINT!
