NEAL FOX - A Painting

Neal Fox is a Brooklyn, New York singer-songwriter, with a musical style not too unlike Randy Newman, Elton John, or an eccentric Billy Joel. He tells semi-surrealistic stories in clean, spare melody lines and lyrics, within matchingly uncluttered orchestral productions. In otherwords, Neal Fox is the musician's musician. Today, he creates advertising jingles and produces music for NBC, CBS, Fox, VH-1, Ford, Toyota, Coca Cola and hundreds of other clients. Neal Fox has also Co-scored film music for the cult movie hits 'The Return of the Killer Tomatoes' (George Clooney's Debut film), and 'Killer Tomatoes Strike Back', as well as providing the voice characterization of "Fuzzy Tomato" in 'Killer Tomatoes Eat France'. Not available on any CD, this esoteric, long out-of-print, seldom seen original 1977 (Pre-Tomatoes) DEBUT release from RCA Records (APL12190), contains: Living Like A King; I Want You Now; Do It; In The Jungle; To A Friend; Join The Party; Babe; Storm Without An End; I've Got A Man For You; and the title track, A Painting. Additional musicians include: WILL LEE (now with Paul Shaffer & The World's Most Dangerous Band on Late Night with David Letterman), Charlie Brown; Dave Friedman; Peter Gordon; Joe Shepley; Leon Cohen; Joe 'Papo' Daddiego; Jon Faddis; and several others. Complete with the proper printed lyric innersleeve. The promo record jacket shows some color rubbing, but is otherwise in Excellent condition. Promo records are the first few to be pressed from the freshly cut masters, and therefore sound the best. They are distributed only to selected radio stations, thereby making them desirable to collectors. The record labels and playing surfaces appear overall beautiful MINT!
